Resumo: Objective: To describe the knowledge of undergraduate nursing students about pressure injuries related to medical devices. Method: Descriptive quantitative research, with snowball sampling. During the month of October 2021, representatives of undergraduate nursing classes received WhatsApp® a link to an electronic form, consisting of 12 closed questions. All participants signed the free and informed consent form and were coded to maintain anonymity. Results: 39 nursing students participated in the research, 87.2% were female, mean age of 26 years, 87.2% of students believe that performing a change in position prevents pressure injuries related to medical devices and 56.4 % think they know how to avoid it and feel safe to evaluate it. Conclusion: Nursing students have the necessary knowledge to assess and prevent pressure injuries related to medical devices, it is believed that the study provided reflection of the actors involved.

Método: Investigación cuantitativa descriptiva, con muestreo de bola de nieve. Durante el mes de octubre de 2021, los representantes de las clases de pregrado en enfermería recibieron en WhatsApp® un enlace a un formulario electrónico, compuesto por 12 preguntas cerradas. Todos los participantes firmaron un formulario de consentimiento informado y fueron codificados para mantener el anonimato. Resultados: Treinta y nueve estudiantes de enfermería participaron de la investigación, el 87,2% eran del sexo femenino, edad media de 26 años, el 87,2% de los estudiantes cree que el cambio de posición previene las lesiones por presión relacionadas con los dispositivos médicos y el 56,4% piensa que sabe evitarlo y sentir seguro evaluarlo. Conclusión: Los estudiantes de enfermería tienen los conocimientos necesarios para evaluar y prevenir las lesiones por presión relacionadas con los dispositivos médicos, se cree que el estudio proporcionó una reflexión de los actores involucrados.Objetivo: Descrever os conhecimentos dos acadêmicos da graduação de enfermagem sobre lesões por pressão relacionadas a dispositivos médicos. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa quantitativa descritiva, com amostragem por bola de neve. Durante o mês de outubro de 2021, representantes das turmas da graduação em enfermagem, receberam pelo WhatsApp® um link para um formulário eletrônico, composto por 12 questões fechadas. Todos os participantes, assinalaram o termo de consentimento livre e esclarecido e para manter o anonimato foram codificados com a letra A, seguido de número sequencial (A1; A2…). Resultados: 39 acadêmicos de enfermagem participaram da pesquisa, 87,2% do sexo feminino, a média de idade foi de 26 anos, 87,2% dos acadêmicos acreditam que realizar mudança de decúbito previne a lesão por pressão relacionada a dispositivo médico e 56,4% julgam saber evitar e sentem-se seguros para avaliá-la.
