METHOD: an integrative review carried out from April to August 2020, in which the LILACS, SciELO and PubMed databases were consulted, resulting in ten analyzed articles. RESULTS: the analysis of the articles included in the study allowed to identify the following risk factors for the syndrome in workers: work overload, stress, physical exhaustion, depression and impaired social interaction.
