NURSING CARE IN THE TREATMENT OF ONCOLOGICAL WOUNDS IN WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER.

Resumo: Objective: To analyze the scientific productions related to nursing care in the treatment of oncological wounds in women with breast cancer. Method: This is an integrative literature review, carried out from December to April 2022. Searches were carried out in all databases contained in the Virtual Health Library: (LILACS) Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences , (MEDLINE) International Health Science Literature, Cochrane Library, (BDENF) Nursing Database and (SciELO) Scientific Electronic Library Online. The descriptors were determined from the tools (DeCS) Descriptors in Health Sciences. The following filters were selected: language, including only publications in Portuguese and Spanish, with a temporal cut of publications in the last ten years (2012 to 2022). Results: 3 studies were selected that highlighted the importance of the correct use of the dressings indicated for each stage of the injury, according to their characteristics and also point out the lack of scientific knowledge in the management of injuries by nurses in the selected studies. Final considerations: There is a need to implement clinical management protocols in the care of these patients with oncological wounds. With the purpose of providing a greater experience for these professionals of the ideal care and, above all, to make them aware of the importance of the records of the nursing process during the assistance provided. Se realizaron búsquedas en todas las bases de datos contenidas en la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud: (LILACS) Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud, (MEDLINE) Literatura Internacional en Ciencias de la Salud , Cochrane Library, (BDENF) Base de datos de enfermería y (SciELO) Scientific Electronic Library Online. Los descriptores se determinaron a partir del instrumento (DeCS) Descriptores en Ciencias de la Salud. Fueron seleccionados los siguientes filtros: idioma, incluyendo solo publicaciones en portugués y español, con corte temporal de publicaciones en los últimos diez años (2012 a 2022). Resultados: Se seleccionaron 3 estudios que destacaron la importancia del uso correcto de los apósitos indicados para cada etapa de la lesión, según sus características y también señalaron la falta de conocimiento científico en el manejo de lesiones por parte de los enfermeros en los estudios seleccionados. Consideraciones finales: Existe la necesidad de implementar protocolos de manejo clínico en el cuidado de estos pacientes con heridas oncológicas. Con el propósito de brindar una mayor experiencia a estos profesionales del cuidado idóneo y, sobre todo, sensibilizarlos sobre la importancia de los registros del proceso de enfermería durante la asistencia prestada. Considerações Finais: Há a necessidade da implantação de protocolos de manejo clínico na assistência a essas pacientes portadoras de feridas oncológicas. Com a finalidade de proporcionar uma maior experiência para esses profissionais dos cuidados ideais e, sobretudo, conscientizá-los da importância dos registros no processo de enfermagem durante a assistência prestada.
