Resumo: Objective: To compare the knowledge of intensive care nursing professionals about pressure injury prevention, before and after an educational intervention. Method: Quasi-experimental research (before-after) of educational intervention, with a quantitative approach, carried out from March to December 2018. 145 nursing professionals in six intensive care units in northeastern Brazil answered the pressure injury test. after approval by the research ethics committee. The analysis was performed using the Mann-Whitney and Wilcoxon tests with a significance level of 5% (p<0.05). Results: There was a significant improvement in the level of knowledge about pressure injuries after the educational intervention, with percentages greater than 90%.
