Resumo: The core of the article discusses the issue of the proportion on the studies of the tourism events also a new way to produce knowledge in the field of tourism history; using the microanalysis, the researcher can reach the substantiality of travel experiences and could capture its diversity and its countless temporalities. This article thinks over on some evaluation papers made by students of the 3rd Year of Tourism at PUC-SP for the subject “History: Travels and Travelers”, offered in the first semester of 2003. Such words attempted to analyze the tourist experiences during the second half of the 20th century in two different travels.

O artigo discute, sobretudo, a questão da escala no estudo dos fenômenos turísticos e uma nova maneira de produzir conhecimento em história do turismo; no uso da microanálise, o pesquisador chega à concretude das experiências de viagem, podendo captar suas diversidades e suas numerosas temporalidades. Trata-se de uma reflexão a partir dos trabalhos de avaliação realizados pelos estudantes de 3o ano de Turismo da PUC-SP para a disciplina “História: Viagens e Viajantes”, ministrada no primeiro semestre de 2003. Esses trabalhos buscavam analisar as experiências de um turista da segunda metade do século XX, em duas viagens distintas.
