Desde os tempos remotos tem sido pauta de discussões e questionamentos, por envolver elementos cruciais para a sobrevivência, que é a natureza e sua preservação. Condiz ressaltar, que somente a partir da década de 90, com a realização da Conferência Rio/92, é que os ecologistas e dirigentes públicos passaram a dar visibilidade ao problema da devastação, poluição, e, neste caso, de que forma punir os atos infracionais cometidos contra a nossa reserva ecológica. Nesse sentido, o tema desta pesquisa monográfica é a responsabilidade da pessoa jurídica, em relação aos danos causados às nossas riquezas naturais, que segundo alguns teóricos e juristas, diz respeito às nossas águas, matas, solo, ar, espécies animais e vegetais, e etc. Portanto, ao longo dos três capítulos foi feita uma abordagem sobre a legislação brasileira no que concerne este tema tão atual, quais as prerrogativas mais importantes, como também se pontuou sobre a definição de meio ambiente, e, concorrentemente, sobre o que é direito ambiental. Algumas leis são citadas, para que as sanções ficassem explícitas quanto ao ordenamento jurídico, assim como algumas considerações sobre a importância da preservação e da conscientização sobre um tipo de desenvolvimento sustentável que é defendido por grande parte dos países. Ademais, foi colocado elementos condizentes com as atividades humanas, que direta ou indiretamente, afetam o nosso equilíbrio ecológico, e compromete a nossa qualidade de vida. Através dos diálogos ficou patente a necessidade de uma consciência ecológica, voltada para o bem estar da população, entendendo preservação, como um direito e um dever de cada cidadão.The ambient question is not a modern subject. Condit to stand out, that only from the decade of 90, with the accomplishment of the Rio/92 Conference, it is that the public ecologists and controllers had started to give visibility to the problem of the devastação, pollution, and, in this in case that, of that it forms to punish the committed infracionais acts against our ecological reserve. In this direction, the subject of this monographic research is the responsibility of the legal entity, in relation to the actual damages to our natural wealth, that according to some theoreticians and jurists, respect to our waters, bushes, ground, air, animal and vegetal species says, and etc. Therefore, throughout the three chapters was made a boarding on the Brazilian legislation in what it concerns this so current subject, which the prerogatives most important, as well as was pontoon on the environment definition, and, concurrently, on what it is environmental law. Some laws are cited, so that the sanctions were explicit how much to the legal system, as well as some considerações on the importance of the preservation and the awareness on a type of sustainable development that is defended by great part of the countries. Admass was placed condizentes elements with the activities human beings, who directly or indirectly, affect our ecological balance, and compromise our quality of life.
