O direito de morrer deve respeitado, pois dignidade não é ter uma vida prolongada e eivada de sofrimento e angústias, mas sim uma vida exaurida ao máximo enquanto constituída de alegrias. Diante dos avanços médico-científicos, presenciados cotidianamente com as descobertas tecno-científicas, quanto às formas de criar, manter e prolongar a vida, os quais colidem com culturas vigentes, questiona-se, ao mesmo tempo, a necessidade de tais progressos e seus efeitos juntos aos direitos fundamentais de cada indivíduo. Com essas constantes descobertas, nota-se que a sociedade se depara com situações com as quais não sabe como se portar, necessitando de uma ampla discussão nas áreas da Sociologia, Biologia, Medicina, Psicologia, Teologia, Direito e outras, com o intuito de buscar soluções para impasses tais como o do tema proposto, ou seja, a Eutanásia. Enseja-se então, um estudo da Bioética, buscando-se uma reflexão na utilização de tais procedimentos, que envolvem o bem mais supremo do ser humano, a Vida. Nota-se, pelo prisma da dignidade da pessoa humana, que tais descobertas, ao invés de proporcionar qualidade de vida e bem-estar, vêm, muitas vezes, direcionando-se apenas para a quantidade de vida, desferindo golpes fatais em princípios éticos e constitucionais, que à deriva passam, sem serem observados. Busca-se atingir o objetivo do presente trabalho, através da pesquisa bibliográfica em livros, textos e periódicos, assim como na legislação pátria.The present work was motivated by the respect to the constitutional primate of the dignity of the person human being, which must be considered until the last will of the men. The right to die must respected, therefore dignity is not to have a life drawn out and contaminated of suffering and it distresses, but yes a lived life to the maximum while constituted of joys. Ahead of the doctor-scientific advances, witnessed daily with the techno-scientific discoveries, how much to the forms to create, to keep and to draw out the life, which collides with effective cultures, it is questioned, at the same time, the necessity of such progress and its together effect to the basic rights of each individual. With these discovered constants, it is noticed that the society if comes across with situations with which does not know as if to carry, needing an ample quarrel in the areas of Sociology, Biology, Medicine, Psychology, Theology, Right and others, with intention to search solutions for impasses such as of the considered subject, that is, the Euthanasia. It is tried then, a study of the Bioética, searching a reflection in the use of such procedures, that involve the well most supreme one of the human being, the Life. It is noticed, for the prism of the dignity of the person human being, who such discoveries, instead of providing to quality of life and well-being, come, many times, directing themselves only for the amount of life, brandishing fatal blows in ethical principles and constitutional, that astray pass, without being observed.
