Resumo: Este trabalho teve como propósito investigar empiricamente como as experiências religiosas afetam na maneira como as transexuais vivenciam sua orientação sexual, bem como compreender a maneira que elas lidam com a sua religiosidade. Foram entrevistadas 14 transexuais femininas que residem no Distrito Federal. As entrevistas partiram de um modelo de entrevista semiestruturado e a análise das entrevistas foi feita através da Análise do Discurso. O trabalho foi dividido em duas categorias para a melhor contextualização ao tema: 1) Meu corpo: ser-para-ação do mundo: uma perspectiva na identidade de gênero; e 2) “Vinde a mim”: religiosidade/espiritualidade de travestis e transexuais. Percebeu-se que em sua maioria, as participantes foram marginalizadas do convívio social-religioso, em função de preconceitos e descriminações marcadas na sociedade em geral e, também, em organizações religiosas. A maioria também iniciou as vivências de conflitos de identidade de gênero na adolescência, associados a conflitos de ordem religiosa. Marcaram e evidenciaram os dilemas e ambiguidades diante da sua condição humana em interação à vida social-comunitária.

It presents some considerations on the psychology of religion, which focuses on the subject's relationship with his religion and the perception of some scholars in distinguishing between religion, spirituality and religiosity. In this specific project was intended to investigate the way these individuals deal with their religion in this way were interviewed 14 female transsexuals who live in the Federal District, who were interviewed as a phenomenological approach. The interviews started from a semistructured interview model. The data analysis was done by Content Analysis. Two categories were found: 1) My body: It is for action in the world: a perspective on gender identity; and 2) "Come to me" religiousness / spirituality of transvestites and transsexuals. In general, the participants in this study perform one refusal movement of the anatomical sex and removal of social standards linked to heteronormative and heteroafetivo model to approach and to experience the travesti and transsexuality. In reverse, transsexuals seek to conform to the given model by changing their bodies, modeling social behavior and religious attitudes, seeking to be recognized from their perception of being women. By particular religious expression and home of the interviewees, just pointing out other ways to experience religion, approaching more concepts about spirituality exercise. After all, in most cases, they have been marginalized from the social-religious coexistence, due to prejudices and discriminations marked in society in general and also in religious organizations. They flourished sexuality in their bodies during adolescence time sensuality flourished in their bodies marked in preadolescence, when most of them began to live conflicts of sexual identity and gender associated with conflicts of religious order.
