Resumo: This research includes the Educational Process and Teacher Training Research Line of the Graduate Program in Education of the Catholic University of Brasilia (UCB). Their theme is continuing teacher education in the collaborative network: challenges and possibilities for early childhood education. The general objective of the study is to understand the continuing education in the collaborative network in the municipality of Castelo (ES), focusing on the challenges and possibilities of early childhood education, having the following criteria: analyze the continuing education program of the municipality, as well as the school unit surveyed between 2018 and 2019; map as strategies of interaction between documents during the continuous training meetings and identify the methods that favor the continuous formation in the network. This is a qualitative research with methodological procedures of documentary, bibliographical and empirical research, published by the authors, Antonio N??voa, Francisco Imbern??n, Carlos Ricardo Ferra??o, among authors who write about the subject. A documentary analysis was composed by the study of the Political and Pedagogical Project, which allows the organization of actions developed in schools. An empirical research, conducted through questionnaires, conducted for managers and teachers, semi-structured interviews with pedagogues of the Municipal Department of Education, with experience between twelve and thirty-one years of teaching, in order to analyze their perceptions about the training process. Continuation of the municipality, as well as combinations of continuing education meetings. The main results pointed to the training policies that occur as foreseen in the legislation, however, it was found that the training process should be implemented with caution, taking advance measures so that it does not become just a demand to be met. The empirical data analyzed indicate dissatisfaction of the documents with the training format offered by the municipality, and there may be a loss of collectivity in the organization of the training program. It became necessary to incorporate into a formative organization of municipal dialogues between managers of the Secretariat and the documents, weaving collaborative networks on an organization of formation meetings, an exchange of experience to qualify or share pedagogical educational knowledge with much contribution to success of learning.
