Resumo: | The complexity and the size of tasks in the current world demand greater interaction amongst people. The solution of problems increasingly contemplates the necessity of group work. In the academic community, scientific research papers are executes by means of group contribu-tion and cooperation. The frequent time and distance constraints faced by group s members make difficult the execution of these activities. Consequently, the asynchronous cooperation becomes convenient and necessary. Named amongst the scientific communities that deal with group collaboration and cooperation are: Computer-Supported Cooperative Work CSCW, Computer-Supported Scientific Collaboration CSSC and Computer-Supported Collabora-tive Learning CSCL. CSCW deals with the support to group tasks development. CSCL pro-vides support systems to one or more cooperative activities that have learning for objective. CSSC intensifies multi/interdisciplinary collaboration, promoting continuous negotiations among participants. Such scientific communities are dedicated to the analysis and the pro-posal of solutions for collaboration and cooperation based on groupware technologies; learn-ing theories, on which the cooperative interaction will be based; and the interaction among multiple participants who need to keep some level of mutual agreement. The connection among cooperative learning, collaborative work and group scientific research is highlighted, once there are parallels amongst the processes involved. This work proposes, conceptually, an environment for the collaborative and asynchronous construction of concepts supported by computer, facilitating the multidisciplinary cooperation by building a common context in sci-entific contribution. One expects that such environment motivates individual and collective work by making available mechanisms that propitiate an evolutionary perception. |
