The objective of this research is to work on the concepts of risk management in software engineering projects whose management uses the agile Scrum methodology. The project seeks to incorporate, mainly in the Scrum rites, risk management and thus bring activities such as risk identification, risk assessment and risk monitoring as an integral part of the agile methodology. Risks in the Scrum agile methodology will be raised from a focus group discussion, with the participation of subject matter experts, with the objective of creating a risk checklist to be used during the application of the methodology. This checklist will be adapted into a statement format in order to apply a questionnaire so that other Scrum and Risk Management practitioners can respond with the degree of agreement with the statements made. A model of incorporating Risk Management into the Scrum agile methodology is proposed and, finally, the conclusion of all this research.
