Resumo: This study aimed to analyze the quality of plywood panels produced with wood veneer species of Eucalyptus saligna, Eucalyptus dunnii and Eucalyptus urograndis hybrid in different compositions, as an alternative use of these species, seeking better quality for physical properties and mechanical properties of the boards manufactured. To assess the quality and its physical and mechanical properties were produced panels with dimensions 500 x 500 x 14 mm, composed of seven layers of blades. The adhesive used was based on phenol- formaldehyde (PF) with solid content of the glue hit 28%, 32%, 36% and nominal weight of 360 g / m² in double line. The pressing of the panels was performed on massive plate with press temperature of 130 ° C, 12 kgf / cm ² pressure and pressing time of 15 minutes. We analyzed the specific weight, the equilibrium moisture content, water absorption, the thickness swelling, the shear glue line, the MOE and MOR static bending. The analysis allows to evaluate the effect of the use of Eucalyptus saligna, Eucalyptus dunnii and Eucalypus urograndis in the manufacture of plywood panels, using different beat glue proportions and different compositions of species. The results were also compared to the requirements of ABNT 31:000.05 (2001), European Standard EN 314-2 (1993), and Deutsches Institut für Normung - DIN 68 792 (1979). For the properties of water absorption and thickness swelling, the three species had higher values than those required by the standard. The values of the shear properties of the glue line, MOR and MOE were superior to panels of Eucalyptus saligna and when blended with blades for Eucalyptus dunnii Eucalyptus urograndis. For panels Eucalyptus dunnii found to lower values of mechanical properties, with an upward trend when in mixtures with other species blades. It can be concluded that the panels produced with blades of Eucalyptus saligna and Eucalyptus urograndis showed good results in both single use and in mixture with other species, sorting their use building construction.

Para avaliação da qualidade e de suas propriedades físicas e mecânicas, foram produzidos painéis com dimensão de 500 x 500 x 14 mm, compostos por sete camadas de lâminas. O adesivo usado foi à base de fenol-formaldeído (FF) com teor de sólido na batida de cola de 28%, 32%, 36% e gramatura nominal de 360 g/m² em linha dupla. A prensagem dos painéis foi realizada em prensa de prato maciço com temperatura de 130°C, 12 kgf/cm² de pressão e tempo de prensagem de 15 minutos. Foi analisada a massa específica, a umidade de equilíbrio, a absorção de água, o inchamento em espessura, o cisalhamento da linha de cola, o MOR e o MOE à flexão estática. As análises permitiram avaliar o efeito da utilização da madeira de Eucalyptus saligna, Eucalyptus dunnii e Eucalypus urograndis na fabricação dos painéis de madeira compensada, utilizando diferentes proporções na batida de cola e diferentes composições de espécies. Os resultados foram também comparados aos requisitos das normas ABNT 31:000.05 (2001), European Standard EN 314-2 (1993) e Deutsches Institut für Normung – DIN 68792 (1979). Para as propriedades de absorção de água e inchamento em espessura, as três espécies apresentaram valores superiores aos exigidos pela norma. Os valores das propriedades de cisalhamento da linha de cola, MOR e MOE foram superiores para painéis de Eucalyptus saligna e quando em misturas com lâminas das madeiras de Eucalyptus dunnii e Eucalyptus urograndis. Para os painéis de Eucalyptus dunnii verificou-se menores valores de propriedades mecânicas, com tendência de aumento quando em misturas com lâminas das demais espécies.
