Resumo: This article aims to highlight the production of knowledge about measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, adopted in cities with national and international borders. Data collection was carried out in July 2021 in three relevant healthcare databases: Scopus, CINAHL and PubMed. The results revealed a sample composed of six studies from a universe of 1755 articles. The six studies were grouped into two categories that describe the measures adopted to control COVID-19 at international borders and the role of health surveillance at the borders in relation to measures to combat COVID-19. With regard to border regions, it is verified that each country adopts the measures that seem to be the most effective for the control of 2019-nCoV coronavirus infection. However, it was found that when you have a multifaceted approach, the result was more effective in mitigating the impacts of the pandemic. Keywords: Border Health. COVID-19. Public Health Surveillance.
