The recessive scenario of FNS public policies: the case of CONSEA

This article presents the impact of economic, social and political instabilities under the Human Right to Adequate Food - DHAA through the extinction of the National Food and Nutrition Security Council - CONSEA. To this end, we use a bibliographic-documentary research guided by historical-dialectical materialism, which reveals the main impacts of its weakening and subsequent extinction of CONSEA. As a consequence, Brazil returns to the Hunger Map in the midst of the greatest health crisis experienced in the world, exposing the drastic setback of public policies on Food and Nutrition Security - SAN and social control through the neoliberal intensification adopted by the extreme right. . Finally, there is an urgent need to maintain the articulation of representative bodies in defense of the DHAA and intensify the struggle for guaranteed rights.
