Teenage girls and the self-perception about vulnerability and risks: a systematic review

Resumo: Social inequality is one of the phenomena that influences in the formation of young people, with teenage girls being the most susceptible to the risk of physical and psychological violence. However, few studies have been carried out regarding the understanding of this scenario, thus, the objective of this systematic review was to verify how research involving this group of people has been generated and analyzed in the scientific field. The data collection was performed in Scielo, Web of Science and Scopus databases, using combinations of descriptors. At the end, 23 manuscripts were selected and analyzed. The results revealed that girls are the gender that are most affected by the risk factors, and in general, the specific care and assistance are marked by sparse and fragmented actions, showing a large gap between real needs and the services offered by the government

No entanto, poucos estudos têm sido realizados no que se refere à compreensão deste cenário, assim, o objetivo da presente revisão sistemática foi verificar como as pesquisas que envolvem esse grupo de pessoas têm sido geradas e analisadas no campo científico. A coleta de dados foi realizada nas bases de dados do Scielo, Web of Science e Scopus, através de combinações de descritores. Ao final, foram selecionados e analisados 23 manuscritos.
