Resumo: When considering the growth in the number of delivery app workers in large Brazilian metropolises and the observation of the conditions that allowed its emergence, we realized the importance of describing some aspects of the activity and the profile of these workers. This research aims to build a report tracing the sociodemographic profile of the delivery workers registered in apps, residents in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza. We started with a questionnaire, sent through social networks and answered by 100 respondents, with items that allowed to describe the working and income conditions, and the apparent similarities and differences between the bicycle and motorcycle modes in the delivery app activity in the metropolitan region of Fortaleza. It is possible to see the ongoing precariousness in the work of the category, which justifies further developments of the study.

It is possible to see the ongoing precariousness in the work of the category, which justifies further developments of the study.Ao considerar o crescimento no número de trabalhadores de entrega por aplicativo nas grandes metrópoles brasileiras e a observação das condições que permitem o surgimento dela, percebemos a importância de descrever alguns aspectos da atividade e do perfil desses trabalhadores. Esta pesquisa tem como intuito a construção de um relatório traçando o perfil sociodemográfico dos entregadores cadastrados em aplicativos, residentes na região metropolitana de Fortaleza. Partimos de um questionário, enviado através de redes sociais e respondido por 100 entrevistados, com itens que permitissem descrever as condições de trabalho e renda e as aparentes semelhanças e diferenças entre os modais bicicleta e motocicleta na atividade de entrega por aplicativo na Região Metropolitana de Fortaleza.
