Resumo: Our objective in this article was to investigate school dropouts in Unicesumar's e-learning Mathematics Degree course in poles of different Brazilian cities and states from the evaded students’ perception. School Dropout in Higher Education, particularly in Teachers Mathematics Education, is a multidetermined phenomenon with consequences for Education. The Mathematics degree course is not an exception when relating to this: what motivates students to drop out of graduation? The 2017 Census revealed that, of those undergraduates who remain in the course, a tiny portion of 8% to 10% obtains the diploma. In this qualitative research, we conducted semi-structured interviews by Skype App with evaded students, and they revealed motivations such as unemployment, health problems, pregnancy, lack of quality  of the course and the materials, low-quality course, and even the distance from the pole.
