Challenges and overcomes in an implanted post-graduation program

Resumo: This article brings reflections on the Post-Graduation Program in Education of Science and Mathematics of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás. Bibliographic research was carried out for this. It reports founding elements of the Program, as well as challenges faced during the first ten years of operation, besides to aspects that constituted the narratives made in the reports posted on the Sucupira Platform. It was verified that the Program, that started in 2012, during the first decade of operation, overcame difficulties related to the curriculum framework and disciplines, and developed educational products according to the guidelines of the Area. It was noticed that the differences were settled, a new curriculum framework defined, a new concept in the four-year evaluation, which allowed the submission and approval of the professional doctorate degree course.

Se relatan elementos fundacionales del Programa, así como, desafíos enfrentados durante los primeros diez años de funcionamiento, además de aspectos que fueron constituidos en las narrativas presentes en los informes publicados en la Plataforma Sucupira. Se constató que el Programa, iniciado en 2012, en el transcurso de la primera década de funcionamiento, superó dificultades relacionadas al currículo y a las disciplinas y, también, desarrolló productos educativos de acuerdo con las directrices del Área. Se notó que se recortaron los bordes, se definió una nueva matriz curricular, un nuevo concepto en la evaluación cuatrienal, lo que posibilitó la presentación y aprobación del curso de doctorado profesional.O presente artigo traz reflexões sobre o Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação para Ciências e Matemática (PPGECM), do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás (IFG). Realizou-se, para tanto, pesquisa bibliográfica. Relatam-se elementos fundantes do programa, bem como desafios enfrentados ao longo dos dez primeiros anos de funcionamento, além de aspectos que se constituíram nas narrativas realizadas nos relatórios postados na Plataforma Sucupira. Verificou-se que o programa, iniciado em 2012, ao longo da primeira década de funcionamento, superou dificuldades relacionadas à matriz curricular e às disciplinas e, também, desenvolveu produtos educacionais de acordo com as diretrizes da área.
