Use of Information and Communication Technologies in the process of teaching- learning digital natives of students in classes of Physics and Mathematics

Resumo: | This study was aimed to evaluate the use of information technology and communication in the teaching-learning of students in class digital natives of Physics and Mathematics high school integrated. The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) was analyzed according to the theories of education, and such use, in education, is important for students new generation of digital natives who live connected to the Internet. ICTs can provide an improvement in the teaching-learning process of students, for this to occur, teachers must be trained in smart technologies. The research was conducted using qualitative content analysis in the open questions about the use of ICT. The respondents were high school students Cubatão integrated campus and the teachers of the Federal Institute Sao Paulo. The result indicates that the use of ICT in physics and mathematics classes should bring a greater motivation to school, a more effective participation of students and a marked improvement in learning. The deployment of ICTs in the teaching- learning involves changes in attitudes and actions, because the teacher ceases to be a transmitter of knowledge and becomes a leader / mediator in the formation of the student's knowledge through the pursuit of information. |

A utilização das TICs foi analisada de acordo com as teorias da educação, sendo que o uso na educação é importante para a nova geração de alunos nativos digitais que vivem conectados à internet. As TICs podem propiciar uma melhora no processo ensino-aprendizagem desses discentes. Para que isso ocorra, os professores precisam se capacitar nas tecnologias inteligentes. A pesquisa realizada foi qualitativa utilizando Análise de Conteúdo nas questões abertas sobre o uso das TICs. Os respondentes foram os alunos do ensino médio integrado do campus Cubatão e os professores do Instituto Federal São Paulo. O resultado indica que o uso das TICs nas aulas de Física e Matemática poderá trazer uma maior motivação às aulas, uma participação mais efetiva dos alunos e uma melhora acentuada na aprendizagem.
