Academic production on history and curriculum of Biology in High School (2005-2018)

Resumo: This study aims to analyze the academic production on history and curriculum of Biology in high school, expressed in dissertations, theses and annals of events, published from 2005 to 2018. The work is characterized as a bibliographic, qualitative and quantitative research, called State of the Question (SQ). In all, 88 papers were identified and analyzed using Textual Discursive Analysis (TDA). Five final categories are presented in this article: I) Temporal distribution; II) Thematic focuses; III) Work genres; IV) Distribution by subarea or content of Biology; and, V) Classification of data collection sources. There was an expansion and diversification of research, with preference for the production of studies on official curricula, textbooks and/or focused on statements from teachers and students. Some gaps were characterized as a lack of historical research on official state curricula and a lack of greater appreciation of the social trajectories of those who work at the school.

El artículo se caracteriza como una investigación bibliográfica, cualitativa e cuantitativa, nombrado de Estado de la Cuestión. 88 trabajos fueran identificados e analizados utilizando el Análisis Textual Discursivo. Cinco categorías finales son presentadas en este artículo: I) Distribución temporal; II) Enfoques temáticos; III) Géneros de los trabajos; IV) Distribución por subcategorías o contenidos da Biología, y V) Clasificación de las fuentes de búsqueda de datos. Hubo una expansión y diversificación de las investigaciones, con preferencia para la producción de estudios sobre currículos oficiales, libros y enfocados em discursos de maestros y alumnos. Algunas brechas han sido caracterizadas, por ejemplo, falta de investigaciones históricas sobre los currículos oficiales del Estado y falta de una mayor valorización de los caminos sociales de quien trabaja en la escuela.Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar a produção acadêmica sobre história e currículo de Biologia no ensino médio, expressas em dissertações, teses e anais de eventos, publicados no período 2005-2018. O trabalho se caracteriza como pesquisa bibliográfica, qualitativa e quantitativa, denominado de Estado da Questão (EQ). Ao todo, 88 trabalhos foram identificados e analisados por meio da Análise Textual Discursiva (ATD). Cinco categorias finais são apresentadas neste artigo: I) Distribuição temporal; II) Focos temáticos; III) Gêneros dos trabalhos; IV) Distribuição por subáreas ou conteúdos da Biologia; e, V) Classificação das fontes de coleta de dados. Houve uma expansão e diversificação das pesquisas, com preferência para a produção de estudos sobre currículos oficiais, livros didáticos e/ou centrados em depoimentos de professores e alunos.
