Civilization or barbarism? It is imperative to work with young people, adults and the elderly on the impact of the extreme right political model in our society

Resumo: | The impact of the far-right political project in Brazil caused a series of negative consequences in several sectors of our society, with workers being most affected by elitist and privatist policies implemented in the last 6 years. As they are the most vulnerable, our Youth, Adult and Elderly Education (EJAI) students need to become aware of the damage arising from these policies and their social impacts, based on what they experienced and observed in the period. It is essential that the principle of class consciousness be developed from the recognition of the social role and the game of interests that were hegemonic and that our students experienced, building a collective and critical translation with a view to emancipation. Our text argues that this dialogical-dialectical process of construction of class consciousness is based on Freire's principles: dialogue, collective work, subjectivity, love and praxis. With the purpose of promoting class consciousness and human emancipation from the critical analysis of the current political models in the last 20 years, we present a methodological proposal anchored in Freire, Marx and Reis, to be developed within the scope of EJAI and built by teachers and by the teachers, otherwise we will not be able to humanize our country in the coming years. |

Nuestros estudiantes de Educación de Jóvenes, Adultos y Mayores (EJAI), por ser los más vulnerables, necesitan tomar conciencia de los daños derivados de estas políticas y sus impactos sociales, a partir de lo vivido y observado en el período. Es fundamental que el principio de conciencia de clase se desarrolle a partir del reconocimiento del rol social y del juego de intereses que fueron hegemónicos y que vivieron nuestros estudiantes, construyendo una traducción colectiva y crítica con miras a la emancipación. Nuestro texto sostiene que este proceso dialógico-dialéctico de construcción de la conciencia de clase se fundamenta en los principios de Freire: diálogo, trabajo colectivo, subjetividad, amor y praxis. Con el propósito de promover la conciencia de clase y la emancipación humana a partir del análisis crítico de los modelos políticos vigentes en los últimos 20 años, presentamos una propuesta metodológica anclada en Freire, Marx y Reis, para ser desarrollada en el ámbito de la EJAI y construida por docentes. y por los maestros, de lo contrario no hay cómo humanizar a nuestro país en los próximos años.O impacto do projeto político da extrema-direita no Brasil provocou uma série de consequências negativas em vários setores da nossa sociedade, sendo os trabalhadores mais prejudicados com políticas elitistas e privatistas implementadas nos últimos seis anos. Por serem os mais vulneráveis, nossos estudantes da Educação de Jovens, Adultos e Idosos (EJAI) precisam alcançar a consciência dos danos oriundos dessas políticas e dos seus impactos sociais, a partir do que vivenciaram e observaram no período. É fundamental que o princípio da consciência de classe seja desenvolvido a partir do reconhecimento do papel social e do jogo de interesses que eram hegemônicos e que nossos estudantes experienciaram, construindo uma tradução coletiva e crítica com vistas à emancipação. O nosso texto argumenta que esse processo dialógico-dialético de construção da consciência de classe, se sustente nos princípios freirianos: dialogia, trabalho coletivo, subjetividade, amorosidade e práxis.
