Resumo: | The article derives from the author's experience with the short stories of Nelson Rodrigues originally known as Life as it is... The body of the article consists fundamentally in his discovery of the tales of the newspaper column "Life as it is" and the possibility of staging them. This resulted in a single theatre show, which was re-enacted several times. The conception however has always remained the same: the maintenance of the narrative text, playing with multiple ways of conveying the author’s voice through the actors. The article also describes and analyses the repertoire of resources of non-illusionist theatricality used in the scenic illustration of Nelson Rodrigues' short stories. |

El artículo partió de la experiencia del autor con los cuentos de Nelson Rodrigues originalmente conocidos como La Vida tal como es… El cuerpo del artículo consiste fundamentalmente en su descubrimiento de los cuentos en la columna periodística "La vida tal como es" y la posibilidad de ponerlos en escena. Esto dio lugar a un solo espectáculo, que se recreó muchas veces. Sin embargo, la propuesta siempre ha sido la misma. Inicialmente, el mantenimiento del texto narrativo, jugando con múltiples formas de transmitir la voz autoral a través de los actores. En un segundo momento, se describe y analiza el arsenal de recursos de teatralidad explícita utilizados en la ilustración escénica de los cuentos de Nelson Rodrigues. O artigo partiu da experiência do autor com os contos de Nelson Rodrigues originalmente conhecidos como A Vida como ela é... O corpo do artigo consiste fundamentalmente na sua descoberta dos contos e da possibilidade de encená-los. Daí resultou um único espetáculo, que foi remontado várias vezes. A proposta manteve-se sempre a mesma: a manutenção do texto narrativo, jogando com múltiplas maneiras de veicular a voz autoral através dos atores. Num segundo momento, descreve-se e analisa-se o arsenal de recursos de teatralidade explícita utilizados na ilustração cênica dos contos de Nelson Rodrigues.
