Resumo: The article presents the theoretical foundations of the collective performance Nós sós, carried out during the physical isolation imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the impossibility of the meeting, the collective connected in a symbolic way, through the making of ritual masks and movements and gestures that evoke warrior entities. The tension between the search for the construction of collectivities and the isolation that can intensify individualism is discussed, as well as the need to reflect on the community, not only of humans, but of all living beings that inhabit the Earth. The mask is one of the reasons that allow such a discussion, since it is opposed to the immunizing mask as an individualizing border and the ritual mask capable of activating the connection with the forces of animal or plant bodies.

Dada la imposibilidad del encuentro, el colectivo se conectó de manera simbólica, a partir de la confección de máscaras rituales y de movimientos y gestos que evocan entidades guerreras. Se discute la tensión entre la búsqueda de construcción de colectividades y el aislamiento que puede ahondar el individualismo, así como la necesidad de reflexionar sobre la comunidad, no apenas de humanos, pero de todos los seres vivos que habitan la Tierra. La máscara es uno de los motivos que permite esa discusión, una vez que se contrapone la máscara inmunizadora como frontera individualizadora y la máscara ritual capaz de activar la conexión con las fuerzas de cuerpos animales o vegetales.O artigo apresenta os fundamentos teóricos da performance coletiva Nós sós, realizada durante o isolamento físico imposto pela pandemia de Covid-19. Devido à impossibilidade do encontro, o coletivo se conectou de forma simbólica, através da confecção de máscaras rituais e de movimentos e gestos que evocam entidades guerreiras. Discute-se a tensão entre a busca de construção de coletividades e o isolamento que pode acirrar o individualismo, bem como a necessidade de refletir sobre a comunidade, não apenas de humanos, mas de todos os seres vivos que habitam a Terra.
