The dramaturgic practice in dance: documental process in the Hot One Hundred Choreographers by Cristian Duarte

Resumo: Dramaturgical practice in dance can be perceived as a form of action and thought, occurring in a tense and processual manner, according to each composition. Due to the diversity of processes and choices within this realm, this article analyzed the dramaturgical construction of Brazilian choreographer Cristian Duarte in his choreographic production, which operates with a documentary process within the field itself: The Hot One Hundred Choreographers. The research was a case study that related to reference materials and semi-structured interviews. The artist's list was highlighted as a dramaturgical tool, emphasizing the value of Cristian's corpar in friction with the choreographers on the list, his choices for the scene, without a fixed structure, valuing equity and collectivity, along with the pursuit of his affections, creation of maneuvers, anchors, and a website. The piece prompts important discussions about contemporaneity, valuing our references and memories in their immanence, like the quasi-bodies that we are.

El hacer dramatúrgico en la danza puede percibirse como una forma de acción y pensamiento, ocurriendo de manera tensa y procesual, según cada composición. Debido a la diversidad de procesos y elecciones en este ámbito, este artículo analizó la construcción dramatúrgica del coreógrafo brasileño Cristian Duarte en su producción coreográfica, que opera con un proceso documental dentro del propio campo: The Hot One Hundred Choreographers. La investigación fue un estudio de caso que se relacionó con materiales de referencia y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Se resaltó la lista del artista como herramienta dramatúrgica, enfatizando el valor del corpar de Cristian en fricción con los coreógrafos de la lista, sus elecciones para la escena, sin una estructura fija, valorando la equidad y la colectividad, junto con la búsqueda de sus afectos, la creación de maniobras, anclajes y un sitio web. La pieza invita a discusiones importantes sobre la contemporaneidad, valorando nuestras referencias y memorias en su inmanencia, como los cuasi-cuerpos que somos. Um fazer dramatúrgico na dança pode ser percebido como forma de ação e pensamento, ocorrendo  de forma tensional e processual, conforme cada composição. Justamente pela diversidade de processos e escolhas nesse âmbito, este artigo analisou o fazer dramatúrgico do coreógrafo brasileiro Cristian Duarte em sua produção coreográfica que opera com um processo documental da própria área: The Hot One Hundred Choreographers. A pesquisa foi um estudo de caso relacionando-se com materiais de referências e entrevista semiestruturada. Evidenciou-se a lista do artista como ferramenta dramatúrgica, o valor do corpar de Cristian em fricção com os coreógrafos da lista, suas escolhas para a cena, sem estrutura fixa, valorizando a equidade e a coletividade, com a busca de seus afetos, criação de manobras, âncoras e um website. A peça convida a importantes discussões da contemporaneidade, valorizando nossas referências e memórias em sua imanência, como quase-corpos que somos.
