Resumo: O presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar o grau de conhecimento de um grupo de alunos de Sistemas de Informação em relação a sistemas Linux. Para isso, contamos com a análise quantitativa e técnica de questionário, realizado com a fase 2013/1 do Centro de Educação do Alto Vale do Itajaí, da Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina. Como resultado, é possível atestarmos queeste grupo, com considerável conhecimento nas áreas tecnológicas, vê o Linux como um sistema de nível intermediário de dificuldade.
