Resumo: This article provides information about the ways of being and acting of women in the Vale doItajaí, Santa Catarina, during the 20th Century, based on the memories of four women whowere interviewed in 2021, for the elaboration of the documentary “Fashion and Memoriesin the Vale”. The documentary sought out mnesic records of these women related to theworks and modes that permeated fashion during the 20th century in the Vale, resulting inknowledge built on the obligations at work, at home and in the daily lives of the interviewees.This article aimed to highlight an identity construction in the Itajaí Valley, based on theinterviewees’ memories of their dress habits, manual labor and professions, as well as themanners and fashions of their time, based on a content analysis (BARDIN, 2016), in whichthe interviewees’ statements will be presented. It is expected to contribute to the expansionof the fields of study of fashion in Santa Catarina, enabling the use of records and memoriesof local fashion in teaching, research and extension.

El documental buscó registros mnésicos de estas mujeres relacionadoscon los trabajos y modos que impregnaron la moda durante el siglo XX en el Valle, dandocomo resultado un conocimiento construido sobre las obligaciones en el trabajo, en el hogary en la vida cotidiana de las entrevistadas. Este artículo tuvo como objetivo resaltar unaconstrucción de identidad en el Valle de Itajaí, a partir de los recuerdos de los entrevistadossobre sus hábitos de vestir, trabajo manual y profesiones, así como los modales y modas desu tiempo, a partir de un análisis de contenido (BARDIN, 2016). , en el que se presentarán lasdeclaraciones de los entrevistados. Se espera que contribuya a la expansión de los camposde estudio de la moda en Santa Catarina, posibilitando el uso de registros y memorias dela moda local en la docencia, investigación y extensión.Esse artigo traz informações sobre os modos de ser, estar e agir das mulheres do Vale doItajaí, Santa Catarina, durante o Século XX, a partir das memórias de quatro mulheres queforam entrevistadas, em 2021, para a elaboração do documentário “Moda e Memórias noVale”. O documentário buscou registros mnésicos dessas mulheres relativos aos trabalhose aos modos que permearam a Moda durante o século XX no Vale, resultando em saberesconstruídos sobre as obrigações no trabalho, na casa e no cotidiano das entrevistadas.Esse artigo objetivou evidenciar uma construção identitária no Vale do Itajaí a partir dasmemórias das entrevistadas sobre seus hábitos de vestir, do trabalho manual e profissões,bem como os modos e modas de seu tempo, a partir de uma análise de conteúdo (BARDIN,2016), quando serão apresentadas as falas das mulheres.
