Resumo: The article starts from the issue of how to document what art teaching professionals plan in/for exhibitions in museums and cultural centers, presenting theoretical reflections that correlate the concepts of memory, archive and document. The text aims to discuss the relationship between document and memory in the cultural environment of Latin America, to point out how such links lead to different forms of registration and to provide reflection on the different ways that the memory of our educational practices in art can gain, as we integrate with our cultural landscape. The writing presents results of a bibliographical and field research (this one carried out in Lima, Peru), referenced in readings of the fields of art, education, history and semiotics of culture, from authors such as Artières (1998), Farge (2009), Lotman (1998), Pinheiro (2020), Sennet (2020), Taylor (2013) and Zumthor (1993). Among the results, we emphasize the understanding that choosing the most appropriate way to record a memory is related to what is considered to be remembered and that including these other forms of manifestation of memory expands what we understand by knowledge.

El texto tiene como objetivo discutir la relación entre documento y memoria en el ámbito cultural de América Latina, señalar cómo tales vínculos conducen a diferentes formas de registro y reflexionar sobre las diferentes formas en que la memoria de nuestras prácticas educativas en el arte puede ganar, a medida que nos integramos con nuestro paisaje cultural. El escrito presenta resultados de una investigación bibliográfica y de campo (esta realizada en Lima, Perú), referenciada en lecturas de los campos del arte, la educación, la historia y la semiótica de la cultura, de autores como Artières (1998), Farge (2009 ), Lotman (1998), Pine Tree (2020), Sennet (2020), Taylor (2013) y Zumthor (1993). Entre los resultados, destacamos la comprensión de que la elección de la forma más adecuada para registrar un recuerdo está relacionada con lo que se considera recordado y que la inclusión de estas otras formas de manifestación de la memoria amplía lo que entendemos por conocimiento.O artigo parte da problemática sobre como documentar aquilo que profissionais do ensino da arte planejam em/para exposições em museus e centros culturais, apresentando reflexões teóricas que correlacionam os conceitos de memória, arquivo e documento. O texto tem como objetivos debater relações entre documento e memória no ambiente cultural da América Latina, apontar como tais vínculos acarretam em distintas formas de registro e proporcionar reflexão a respeito das diferentes formas que a memória de nossas práticas educativas em arte podem ganhar, ao nos integrarmos com nossa paisagem cultural. A escrita apresenta resultados de uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico e de campo (esta realizada em Lima, Peru), referenciada em leituras dos campos da arte, da educação, da história e da semiótica da cultura, a partir de autores como Artières (1998), Farge (2009), Lotman (1998), Pinheiro (2020), Sennet (2020), Taylor (2013) e Zumthor (1993).
