Ergonomics and clothing: systematic literature review on the use of ergonomics in the clothing product development process

Resumo: In the current production scenario, apparel industries develop products at a fast pace, however, they need to intensify the pursuit of performance excellence to meet the needs of users. Thus, it is necessary to adopt a way of working that incorporates the use of Ergonomics in production processes, after all, it is science that improves the function of clothing, considering harmony and comfort. This article aims to identify studies that have developed resources for the application of Ergonomics in the development of clothing products, through a systematic literature review. 1452 documents were identified, which after filtering, 32 were submitted to bibliometric and content analysis. The results approach Brazil, Portugal, Sweden, China and the United Kingdom, as countries with the largest publications, being mostly models for the pre-development and development phases. In terms of content, the publications focus on: improving the development of functional products; assess comfort and usability; improve protective, sports and professional clothing; and the development of inclusive apparel, haute couture and costumes.

Por ello, es necesario adoptar una forma de trabajo que incorpore el uso de la Ergonomía en los procesos productivos, al fin, es la ciencia  que mejora la función de la indumentaria, considerando la armonía y la comodidad. Este artículo tiene como objetivo identificar estudios que desarrollaron recursos para la aplicación de Ergonomía en el desarrollo de prendas de vestir, a través de una revisión sistemática de la literatura. Los resultados se acercan a Brasil, Portugal, Suecia, China y Reino Unido, como países con mayores publicaciones, siendo en su mayoría modelos para las fases de predesarrollo y desarrollo. En contenido, las publicaciones enfocan en: mejorar el desarrollo de productos funcionales; evaluar la comodidad y la usabilidad; mejorar la ropa de protección, deportiva y profesional; y el desarrollo de indumentaria, alta costura y disfraces inclusivos.No atual cenário produtivo, as indústrias de vestuário desenvolvem produtos em um ritmo acelerado, no entanto precisam intensificar a busca da excelência no desempenho para atender às necessidades dos usuários. Assim, é necessário adotar uma forma de trabalho que incorpore o uso da Ergonomia nos processos produtivos, afinal é a ciência que melhora a função das vestimentas, considerando harmonia e conforto. Este artigo objetiva identificar estudos que desenvolveram recursos para aplicação da Ergonomia no desenvolvimento do produto de vestuário, por meio de uma revisão sistemática da literatura. Identificaram-se 1452 documentos, que após a filtragem, 32 foram submetidos a uma análise bibliométrica e de conteúdo. Os resultados abordam Brasil, Portugal, Suécia, China e Reino Unido, como países com maiores publicações, sendo em sua maioria modelos destinados às fases de pré-desenvolvimento e desenvolvimento.
