Resumo: Events are considered, by most of the literature, the most efficient means of communication for publicizing brands and launching products and brands. Fashion commercial brands mainly benefit from fashion shows as events aimed at buyers, the press, and end consumers. This article analyzes the feelings, emotions, and sensations aroused in a conceptual fashion show. Its motto resides in the presentation entitled The mud show by the Balenciaga brand for the Spring/Summer 2023 season (occurred in October 2022 in Paris). Thus, the methodology that guided this research involved a descriptive analysis based on the triangulation between the observed fashion shows, the data collected in legitimate journalistic publications in the field of fashion, and the theoretical reference consulted through bibliographical research. We concluded that The mud show properly applied expressive elements such as the choice of casting, scenography, sound, lighting, and mainly its theme to sensitize and move the spectators.

Las marcas comerciales de moda se benefician principalmente de los desfiles de moda como eventos dirigidos a compradores, prensa y consumidores finales. Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los sentimientos, emociones y sensaciones que despierta un desfile de moda conceptual. Su lema reside en la presentación titulada The mud show de la marca Balenciaga para la temporada Primavera/Verano 2023 (ocurrida en octubre de 2022 en París). Así, la metodología que orientó esta investigación implicó un análisis descriptivo basado en la triangulación entre los desfiles de moda observados, en los datos recogidos en publicaciones periodísticas legítimas en el campo de la moda y en el referencial teórico consultado a través de la investigación bibliográfica. Se puede concluir que The mud show parade supo aprovechar elementos expresivos como la elección del casting, la escenografía, el sonido, la iluminación y principalmente su temática para sensibilizar y emocionar a los espectadores.Eventos são considerados, por grande parte da literatura, o mais eficiente meio de comunicação para divulgação de marcas e lançamento de produtos e marcas. As marcas comerciais de moda usufruem sobretudo dos desfiles como eventos direcionados a compradores, imprensa e consumidores finais. O presente artigo tem como objetivo analisar os sentimentos, emoções e sensações despertados em um desfile conceitual de moda. Seu mote reside sobre a apresentação intitulada The mud show da marca Balenciaga para a temporada Primavera/Verão 2023 (ocorrida em outubro de 2022 em Paris). Assim, a metodologia que guiou esta pesquisa implicou análise descritiva baseada na triangulação entre o desfile observados, nos dados levantados em publicações jornalísticas legitimadas no campo da moda e no referencial teórico consultado por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica.
