This article is excerpted from the documentary research conducted by the statistical acquis of the Board of Access, and Evaluation University of Pará, based on the results of the Selection Processes achieved by students of public schools in Bethlehem Analysis was performed on the successes and numerical approach final results of the Admissions Program Selection Processes and Case Series of Selective UEPA. The research is primarily an analysis of the results of Selection Processes that show the difference in the approval number of students from private schools over public school students, which prompts a reflection on the current situation of education in public schools and forms of access the University of Pará through its Selection Processes. The data analyzed take into account the empirical knowledge of the researcher, which causes discomfort and that was part of the planning work over the years living in schools and complemented by the opportunity to develop professional activity in the Directorate of Access, and Evaluation UEPA. The main objective of this research is to find ways to subsidize the public through the institutions surveyed (UEPA and SEDUC) actions in pursuit of policies that encourage the participation of public school students in Selection Processes.
