Resumo: The economic, social and cultural activities and relationships brought with them the emergence and advancement of impacts on environmental systems, such as changes in the natural dynamics of water courses in the semi-arid region. Thus, this work aims to compare changes in the fluvial morphology of the intermittent system of the Cajazeiras stream sub-basin in the years 2009 and 2020, considering observations of anthropic interventions of occupation of the area, even showing, indicative to the local environmental planning. This hydrographic sub-basin located in the Alto Oeste Potiguar, comprises in its extension, part of the municipalities of Água Nova, Rafael Fernandes, Encanto and Pau dos Ferros, has been presenting problems of flooding, inundation and water pollution. Thus, based on Vieira (2003), Batista (2011), Ross (2011), Batista e Silva (2013), Nascimento (2013), Girão and Corrêa (2015), Stevaux and Latrubesse (2017), Cavalcante (2018) , Vilaça (2018), Costa (2018), Carvalho (2019; 2020), and with the use of satellite images and field research, it was found that the studied watercourses have several morphological impacts with regard to occupation of land, mainly in urban locations in the municipalities of Pau dos Ferros and Água Nova, being indicative of the need for urban planning considering the river morphology.

Por lo tanto, este trabajo tiene como objetivo comparar los cambios en la morfología fluvial del sistema intermitente de la subcuenca del arroyo Cajazeiras en los años 2009 y 2020, considerando las observaciones de intervenciones antrópicas de ocupación del área, incluso mostrando, indicativo de la planificación ambiental local . Esta subcuenca hidrográfica ubicada en el Alto Oeste Potiguar, comprende en su extensión, parte de los municipios de Água Nova, Rafael Fernandes, Encanto y Pau dos Ferros, viene presentando problemas de inundaciones, inundaciones y contaminación de aguas. Así, con base en Vieira (2003), Batista (2011), Ross (2011), Batista e Silva (2013), Nascimento (2013), Girão y Corrêa (2015), Stevaux y Latrubesse (2017), Cavalcante (2018), Vilaça (2018), Costa (2018), Carvalho (2019; 2020), y con el uso de imágenes de satélite e investigación de campo, se constató que los cursos de agua estudiados tienen varios impactos morfológicos en cuanto a la ocupación del suelo, principalmente en localidades urbanas. en los municipios de Pau dos Ferros y Água Nova, siendo indicativo de la necesidad de una planificación urbana considerando la morfología del río.Les activités et les relations économiques, sociales et culturelles ont entraîné l'émergence et l'avancement d'impacts sur les systèmes environnementaux, tels que des changements dans la dynamique naturelle des cours d'eau dans la région semi-aride. Ainsi, ce travail vise à comparer les changements dans la morphologie fluviale du système intermittent du sous-bassin du ruisseau Cajazeiras dans les années 2009 et 2020, en tenant compte des observations d'interventions anthropiques d'occupation de la zone, même en montrant, indicatif à la planification environnementale locale . Ce sous-bassin hydrographique situé dans l'Alto Oeste Potiguar, comprenant dans son extension une partie des municipalités d'Água Nova, Rafael Fernandes, Encanto et Pau dos Ferros, a présenté des problèmes d'inondation, d'inondation et de pollution de l'eau. Ainsi, d'après Vieira (2003), Batista (2011), Ross (2011), Batista e Silva (2013), Nascimento (2013), Girão et Corrêa (2015), Stevaux et Latrubesse (2017), Cavalcante (2018) , Vilaça (2018), Costa (2018), Carvalho (2019; 2020), et avec l'utilisation d'images satellites et de recherches sur le terrain, il a été constaté que les cours d'eau étudiés ont plusieurs impacts morphologiques en ce qui concerne l'occupation des terres, principalement dans les zones urbaines dans les municipalités de Pau dos Ferros et Água Nova, indiquant la nécessité d'une planification urbaine tenant compte de la morphologie de la rivière.As atividades e relações econômicas, sociais e culturais, trouxeram consigo, o surgimento e o avanço de impactos sobre os sistemas ambientais, a exemplo das modificações na dinâmica natural dos cursos d’água no semiárido. Assim, este trabalho objetiva comparar mudanças na morfologia fluvial do sistema intermitente da sub-bacia hidrográfica do riacho Cajazeiras nos anos de 2009 e 2020, considerando observações de intervenções antrópicas de ocupação da área, mostrando inclusive, indicativos ao planejamento ambiental local. Essa sub-bacia hidrográfica localizada no Alto Oeste Potiguar, compreende em sua extensão, parte dos municípios de água Nova, Rafael Fernandes, Encanto e Pau dos Ferros, vem apresentando problemas de inundações, alagamentos e poluição hídrica.
