Resumo: | Walking through the streets of the city of Quixeramobim – CE between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. has been a growing challenge for citizens, as the feeling of warmth has grown and has been increasingly commented on by people on the street. The main streets were covered with pavement, squares and commercial buildings were built. The choice of neighborhoods with different characteristics, mainly in relation to the number of areas with vegetation and housing density, helped to define the study área. The general objective was to analyze the effects that afforestation and the presence of hydrous bodies have on the thermal sensation in the urban center of Quixeramobim. A digital thermo-hygrometer (model Pd-003) was used to collect the environmental parameters of temperature and relative humidity. The thermal behavior of the collection points showed interesting variables, considering that the proximity of the water body of the Quixeramobim River, provided a slight change in the relative humidity of the air. It was noted that the locations where a large number of buildings, industries, and asphalt pavement are located have high temperatures and low air humidity, revealing how important it is to introduce tree vegetation in urban centers, in recreation squares, and on the streets. |

EdUECE2021-12-31info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.uece.br/index.php/GeoUECE/article/view/5388Revista GeoUECE; v. 10 n. 19 (2021); e2021042317-028Xreponame:GeoUECEinstname:Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE)instacron:UECEporhttps://revistas.uece.br/index.php/GeoUECE/article/view/5388/6300Copyright (c) 2022 Revista GeoUECEinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessQueirós, Geisonaldo Roberto Sampaio de Rocha, Mailton Nogueira da 2023-01-28T11:15:01Zoai:ojs.revistas.uece.br:article/5388RevistaPUBhttps://revistas.uece.br/index.php/GeoUECE/oaidenise.bomtempo@uece.br || eduardo.lgco@gmail.com2317-028X2317-028Xopendoar:2023-01-28T11:15:01GeoUECE - Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE)false |
