Resumo: Analysis of the security axis, available at PeNSE/IBGE in 2019 to investigate the types of violence that affect adolescents that interfere with school learning. The focus on the city of Fortaleza allows teachers, health professionals and managers to think about actions that promote a culture of care in society and at school, in order to contribute to the integral development of adolescents. The examination of the data based on the literature review contributes to the reflection of the local reality, seeking to overcome the signs of violence and insecurities that affect adolescent students. The pertinence is given by the reflections on the strengthening of a culture of care as a way to promote the health of the student. In view of this, public policies for the protection of adolescents are considered dispersed and incipient, as cases of violence against this public have increased.

O recorte da cidade de Fortaleza permite aos professores, profissionais da saúde e gestores pensar ações que promovam uma cultura de cuidado na sociedade e na escola, a fim de contribuir para o desenvolvimento integral dos adolescentes. O exame dos dados fundamentado à revisão de literatura contribui para a reflexão da realidade local, buscando superar os sinais de violências e inseguranças que atingem os adolescentes escolares. A pertinência se dá pelas reflexões sobre o fortalecimento de uma cultura de cuidado como forma de promover a saúde do escolar.
