Resumo: The present work seeks to make a literary reflection on the short stories. “Close Doors”, “The Boys” and “The Prisioner” by Moreira Campos, focusing on their social issues and also their main characteristics by revering the style and also the peculiarities of these short stories, the phases in which the author’s tales lived werw also highlighted: Impressionist, Transition and Realist. The above tales were identified as reaistic with social questions, bringing death as a common occurrence among them; in divergent situacions: “Close Doors” (fatality); “The Boys” (decay) and “The Prisioner” (suicide). The study also focused on a brief linguistic analysis of the plot of the tales, taking into account the ordering of the elements of the narrative of these tales. The characteristics of the short stories,in the view of Batista de Lima, one of the author’s researchers, were fundamental for the eleboration of the work. Methodologically, we developed a Case Study through a Descriptive or Analytical Research for a better understanding of the author”s style. We conclude that the development of Literary Literacy and, at the same time, Digital Literacy, allowed a greater approximation of students to the reading project in the classroom.
