The contribution of socio-emotional skills to meaningful learning

Resumo: The research aimed to analyze the contributions of socio-emotional skills in the construction of meaningful learning of students from the early years of elementary school, the locus was a public school in the municipality of Quixadá/CE. The methodology is based on a qualitative, exploratory approach; we observed a 2nd grade class of the elementary school in the aforementioned city. The teacher answered the questionnaire, sent via Google forms. In view of the readings and the collection, we conclude that social and emotional skills contribute to the development of meaningful learning, and even in the face of the problems faced by public education, the teacher contemplated strategies that enable the articulation of social and emotional skills with meaningful learning, even if sometimes intuitively. The teacher emphasizes the need for managers to organize training sessions for their teachers that allow them to be updated in new pedagogical strategies.

A metodologia subsidia-se por uma abordagem qualitativa do tipo exploratória, realizamos a observação de uma turma do 2º ano da educação básica do referido município. A professora respondeu ao questionário, enviado via google forms. Diante das leituras e da coleta, conclui-se que as competências socioemocionais contribuem para o desenvolvimento da aprendizagem significativa e mesmo diante dos problemas enfrentados pelo ensino público, a professora contemplou estratégias, que possibilitam a articulação das competências socioemocionais com a aprendizagem significativa, ainda que por vezes de forma intuitiva.
