Resumo: The mathematical literacy of students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a process that raises many questions and doubts about which practices should be used. Thus, our objective was to investigate and describe the pedagogical practices aimed at the mathematical literacy process of a student with ASD. The study took place in a 2nd year classroom at a public school in the city of Fortaleza-Ceará and had the participation of teachers. The methodology used was a case study, for data collection the observational technique was used with a qualitative approach, verifying the development process of this student. The results showed the importance of good planning, the difficulties of teachers in collaborative situations between students and developing mathematical literacy practices, in this way, the relevance of teachers in believing in the potential of students to have significant results in mathematical literacy is observed.

Assim, nosso objetivo foi investigar e descrever as práticas pedagógicas voltadas para o processo de letramento matemático de um aluno com TEA. O estudo aconteceu em uma sala de aula do 2º ano, de uma escola pública do município de Fortaleza-Ceará e contou com a participação de professores. A metodologia empregada foi um estudo de caso, para a coleta de dados utilizou-se a técnica observacional com uma abordagem qualitativa verificando o processo de desenvolvimento desse aluno. Os resultados apresentaram a importância de um bom planejamento, as dificuldades dos professores nas situações colaborativas entre os alunos e de desenvolver práticas de letramento matemático.
