Resumo: | This article aims to propose reflections on the advance of neoliberal policies on public policies in Brazil, especially those that concern educational systems and Rural Education. Bodies of a neoliberal nature, such as the IMF and the World Bank, since their origin, propose a limitation of the State's performance in the provision of its obligations to society, which is replaced by private institutions, however, this conception, throughout history, promotes dismantling, the precariousness of social services, in addition to widening inequalities. It is a presentation of a qualitative, bibliographic and documentary approach, with reflections that contemplate the challenges and strategies of struggle today, for the maintenance of public policies of rural education, historically conquered. Among the research sources, we used legislation, bibliographic collections, ordinances and decrees about the interfaces between public policies for rural education and social movements. Paradoxically, the various social movements resist this escalation of capital and the educational systems, at their different levels, continue to resist the onslaughts promoted by neoliberalism. |
