Bringing early Childhood Education back: strategies for the post-pandemic

Resumo: This article presents a proposal for strategies for returning to face-to-face activities in early Childhood Education post-pandemic. The covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on early Childhood Education, disrupting children's learning and development. Based on a comprehensive survey of studies published between 2022 and 2023, key measures were identified to ensure a safe and effective return to face-to-face format. Key indications address the importance of a safe environment, strict hygiene protocols, gradual return, emotional and social support, flexible curriculum, partnership with parents, outdoor activities, and individualized care. These measures aim to promote the well-being and healthy development of children, providing quality education in post-pandemic early Childhood Education. The implementation of these strategies is essential to face the challenges posed by the pandemic and ensure an adequate return to educational activities.

A pandemia de covid-19 teve um impacto significativo na Educação Infantil, interrompendo a aprendizagem e o desenvolvimento das crianças. Com base em uma pesquisa abrangente de estudos publicados entre 2022 e 2023, foram identificadas medidas essenciais para garantir um retorno ao formato presencial seguro e eficaz. As principais indicações abordam a importância de um ambiente seguro, protocolos de higiene rigorosos, retorno gradual, apoio emocional e social, currículo flexível, parceria com os pais, atividades ao ar livre e atendimento individualizado. Essas medidas visam promover o bem-estar e o desenvolvimento saudável das crianças, proporcionando uma educação de qualidade na Educação Infantil pós-pandemia.
