A cooperative learning experience in the Letter course

Resumo: The objective of this work is to present the activities that comprised the discipline Special Topics in Portuguese in a Cooperative Learning approach and the repercussions perceived by us and by the students of this discipline arising from contact with the methodology of cooperative learning. The procedures for writing this work were: to present the methodology of cooperative learning; describe how the discipline mentioned during course of the Letters of the Federal University of Ceará took place and analyze reports from students who participated in it in 2014 or in 2016. It was noticed that the methodology of cooperative learning provided an environment conducive to the social interaction of students, contributing to the sharing of knowledge, the improvement of student coexistence, the strengthening of mutual aid, respect for individualities and the reduction of pre-judgments. We believe, therefore, that contact with the methodology can help students to feel socially and academically integrated in the course.

We believe, therefore, that contact with the methodology can help students to feel socially and academically integrated in the course.É objetivo deste trabalho apresentar as atividades que compuseram a disciplina Tópicos especiais em Língua Portuguesa numa abordagem de Aprendizagem Cooperativa e as repercussões percebidas por nós e pelos discentes dessa disciplina advindas do contato com a metodologia da aprendizagem cooperativa. Os procedimentos para a escrita deste trabalho foram: apresentar a metodologia da aprendizagem cooperativa; descrever como se deu a execução da disciplina citada no Curso de Letras da Universidade Federal do Ceará e analisar relatos de estudantes que participaram dela em 2014 ou em 2016. Percebeu-se que a metodologia da aprendizagem cooperativa proporcionou um ambiente propício à interação social dos alunos, contribuindo para o compartilhamento de saberes, a melhoria da convivência dos estudantes, o fortalecimento da ajuda mútua, o respeito às individualidades e a diminuição dos pré-julgamentos.
