Resumo: The present research Guinean migrant women, social and daily networks in the neighborhoods of Barreiro-Lisbon, are part of the ongoing research of the Master in Anthropology at the University of Lisbon. We are interested in understanding how these Guinean women organize themselves in the so-called Lisbon metropolitan area. They are women who organize themselves in formal and informal social networks with a history of associations from the country of origin to Guinea-Bissau, using agency and social capital in their networks. The starting question devised for the investigative path is How do Guinean women from Barreiro-Lisbon neighborhoods use social networks to reinterpret their practices and belongings, manage their relations with Portuguese institutions and with the country of origin? For the theoretical methodological walk, we will bring Quintino (2004; 2010) Carreira (2007) Albuquerque (2008), Costa (2016) in the dialog with Guinean associations and mobility networks to Portugal and greater depth during research with other authors. The methodological path will bring the method of ethnography and biography of Guinean women, participant observation of a qualitative nature with the technique of data collection and unstructured interviews. The results are being built considering that the research is ongoing
