The decolonial potential of intercultural narratives in indigenous teaching

Resumo: | This article aims to discuss indigenous teaching as a territory of intercultural knowledge and its decolonial potential from the teaching narratives of the Differentiated Indigenous School Aba Tapeba located in the village of Jandaiguaba, in Caucaia-CE. Methodological procedures used as an initial basis for bibliographic research for theoretical discussion on territory-body (MIRANDA, 2020; HAESBAERT, 2021), interculturality of knowledge (SANTOS, 2019) and decolonial teaching (WALSH, 2017), which makes us understand that teaching is a territory-body of intercultural knowledge that produces intercultural narratives with decolonial potential. We show that indigenous teaching narratives present an ecology of knowledge by incorporating the disciplinary knowledge of school geography to ancestral knowledge, giving expression to indigenous social struggles. |

Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados tiveram como base inicial a pesquisa bibliográfica para discussão teórica sobre corpo-território (MIRANDA, 2020; HAESBAERT,2021), interculturalidade de saberes (SANTOS, 2019) e docência decolonial (WALSH, 2017), a qual nos faz compreender que a docência é um corpo território de interculturalidade de saberes que produz narrativas interculturais com potencialidade decolonial.
