The work of Joao Guimarães Rosa raises relations with different areas of knowledge. It’s rich in both the formal and linguistic aspects, as in the poetic dimension, althoug with wide criticism fortune, make possibilite still the opening of a vast field of research. The postures in front of the analytical work of Rosa have gone on-line theoretical criticism distinct and sometimes antagonistic. This research has like literary corpus some tales of Sagarana and Corpo de baile. It aims to demonstrate the interaction proposed by the author between world and language. In some tales selected to realize the dominance of the game of language in which the author creates puzzles postulating of a poetic language, while in other tales, the author deals with aspects of the mysterious of the world from the presence of the supernatural, for example, in the practice of witchcraft. The distinction between puzzles and mysteries built by Rosa is subtle, his text suggests an overlapping between them, now mainly the mysteries of the world, sometimes the puzzles of a language stoned by poetry. To approach this hybrid written by Rosa, we will take as basic theoretical discussions on the relationship between language and world, and served as support on the theories about metalanguage and fantastic gender that deals of the relationship with the supernatural, approaching also of wonderful. Finally, this research propose to question the Rosiana poetic in transit between life and language, composed of mysteries and puzzles.
