This paper discusses the relationship between land use planning and criminal analysis in Feira de Santana and aims to analyze the territorialization of crime in the city, using the theories of environmental criminology, which underlie Criminal Analysis, with the purpose of explaining the importance of prevention through territorial planning, fostering the construction of public policies to reduce crime. To this end, the specific objectives are: (1) to analyze the relationship between urban growth and crime in Feira de Santana from 2000 to 2019; (2) describe the types of Criminal Analysis to demonstrate the importance for public safety, contextualizing with the crimes against property and homicide crimes that took place in Feira de Santana from 2014 to 2019; (3) apply the Environmental Crime theories that support Criminal Analysis in order to propose the construction of public policies for crime reduction. The research is supported by the structuralist method and also goes through the action research, as in addition to deepening the discussion on crime in the territory of the city of Feira de Santana, it also intends to contribute towards suggesting the development of an application that contributes, from the participatory cartography performed by the military police, to make decisions regarding the crime rates of the city and the confrontation of the criminal territorial order. The results showed the existence of a territorial ordering of crime that considers different cuts depending on the criminal typology analyzed and, thus, by analyzing each of these forms of materialization of violence, it was found that it is possible to think of strategies both broad as well as specialized in order to improve the rates of violence in the municipal territory.
