Resumo: | This study aimed to investigate the patterns phenological of leaf fall and leaf budding of 30 woody species in a savannah area, evaluating the influence of environmental factors and water potential on the phenological strategies. Three plots were delimited in a 20x50m cerrado rupestre area, located in the vicinity of the Chapada Diamantina National Park in the municipality of Palmeiras, Bahia (12 º 27 '30.9 "S and 41 º 27' 03.28" W). For phenological monitoring, were sampled 190 individuals belonging to 30 species in 21 families. The phenological observations occurred between March 2009 and August 2010, and measurements of water potential were conducted in dry, wet and intermediate periods of rainfall. The results show a continuing pattern of leaf bud and the greatest episodes of fall were recorded in the dry season. The predominant phenology group was of evergreen and evergreen episodic, followed by deciduous and semideciduous. The groups showed similar values of water potential over the three periods of observation, however, in the community there was a difference of the water potential at dawn between times, and at noon there was no significant difference between measurements of the dry and rainy seasons, and found differences between these and the intermediate period of rainfall. Although the woody species of the cerrado rupestre always maintain low the water potential along the year, the smallest readiness of imposed water the these plants, it didn't impede the establishment of different patterns phenological, besides with the predominance of the pattern perennial that was reflected in the community. |

Submitted by Ricardo Cedraz Duque Moliterno (ricardo.moliterno@uefs.br) on 2020-05-01T14:15:50Z No. of bitstreams: 1 DISSERTAÇÃO_ALINE MORAES.pdf: 1560117 bytes, checksum: 67b81ccdb554d93ccd70d9d044606418 (MD5)Made available in DSpace on 2020-05-01T14:15:50Z (GMT).
