Estudo fitoquímico e incorporação do extrato etanólico de hymenaea martiana hayne (fabaceae) em uma formulação fitocosmética

Resumo: Hymenaea martiana, known as “jatobá”, has great phytochemical potential, but the development of pharmaceutical or cosmetic products with this species has not been reported yet.Given this context, this study aimed to develop a phytochemical study of extract of the barks of Hymenaea martiana and incorporate the extract in a phytocosmeticformulation with photoprotective action. For this, the barks were subjected to accelerated solventextraction with ethanol, the crude extract (HM-BSE) being concentrated and partitioned.In the phytochemical study, total phenolic and flavonoid compounds were determined, in addition to photoprotective, antioxidant and antimicrobial activitiesin vitro.An analysis by HPLC-MS and a chromatographic profile in HPLC-DAD was performed with the Hm-Fr.AcOEt fraction.Three flavonoids were isolated by Sephadex® and identified by NMR.A technological application has been demonstrated with the incorporation of the extract and a chemical filter on a cosmetic basis.In the phytochemical study, Hm-EEB and the Hm-Fr.AcOEt fraction presented better dosing results with significant photoprotective, antimicrobial and antioxidant activity, with a strong correlation between activities and phenolic compounds.By CLAE-DAD, 18 bioactive flavonoids were identified.The chromatographic profile presented four major flavonoids with DAD-UV spectrum suggestive of astilbin and its isomers, and three of them were identified by NMR as neoastilbin, astilbina and isoastilbin.In the incorporation step, a synergistic effect was observed between the extract and the chemical filter, and the F4 formulation was considered a promising product.The results show the cosmetic potential of Hymenaea martiana, a native plant from the Brazilian northeast with great biotechnological and therapeutic potential

Diante deste contexto, este trabalho teve como objetivo realizar um estudo fitoquímico do extrato das cascas de Hymenaea martianae incorporá-lo em uma formulação fitocosmética com ação fotoprotetora. Para isso, as cascas foram submetidas à extração acelerada por solvente com etanol, sendo o extrato bruto (HM-EEB) concentrado e particionado. No estudo fitoquímico, foram determinados os compostos fenólicos e flavonoides totais, além das atividades fotoprotetora, antioxidante e antimicrobiana in vitro. Uma análise por CLAE-EM e um perfil cromatográfico em CLAE-DAD foi realizada com o extrato bruto e a fração Hm-Fr.AcOEt. Três flavonoides foram isolados por Sephadex® e identificados por RMN. Uma aplicação tecnológica foi demonstrada com a incorporação do extrato e um filtro químico em uma base cosmética. No estudo fitoquímico, o extrato bruto e a fração acetato apresentaram melhores resultados de doseamento, com atividade fotoprotetora, antimicrobiana e antioxidante significativas, com forte correlação entre as atividades e os compostos fenólicos. Por CLAE-DAD, 18 flavonoides bioativos foram identificados. O perfil cromatográfico apresentou quatro flavonoides majoritários com espectro DAD-UV sugestivo para astilbina e seus isômeros, e três desses foram identificados por RMN como neoastibilna, astilbina e isoastilbina.Na etapa de incorporação, foi observado um possível efeito sinérgico entre o extrato e o filtro químico, e a formulação F4 foi considerada um produto promissor.
