Resumo: The need and relevance of career planning for undergraduate and graduate students in Fashion Design is investigated in this study. After the conduction of a quali-quantitative and descriptive research, supported by the application of an in-field questionnaire, results suggest the lack and the importance of guidelines – which must be provided during the undergraduate course – on market, professional possibilities, and career planning about the Fashion Design field.
