Resumo: This article analyzes the contributions of design in the development of Assistive Technology products through 3D printing from the perspective of users' social values and self-esteem. The study is presented by means of a brief bibliographic survey for contextualization, followed by two case studies on the applicability of 3D printing in the development of Assistive Technology products. Finally, the analysis and final considerations are presented.
