Resumo: Based on an analytical survey on the use of the CANVAS by professionals in the Service Design field, we consider the current challenges that designers face when exposed to the responsibility of working with multidisciplinary groups with CANVAS as a core support tool for knowledge integration. The ability of the designer to mediate, above that of facilitating, is inherent in the interactions and conflicts in the search for socially relevant results, since the working groups have a high level of education and come from different fields of knowledge.
