Resumo: This article seeks to reflect, through basic, qualitative and descriptive research, on the main contributions of Social Design to the valorization of the cultural production of Kaingang indigenous peoples from the West of Santa Catarina. Data collected from an exhibition of this ethnic group of 2020 revealed important social actions related to Design and perceived from the involvement of non-indigenous people in the organization, curatorship, promotion and commercialization of the artisanal culture of this ethnic minority and its artisans as a form of historical reparation.
