Resumo: This paper is an analysis of Mulherio, a feminist newspaper published in São Paulo and sold throughout Brazil in the 1980s. The examined sample ranges from numbers #0 to #15, during which the project received funds from the Ford Foundation. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the main visual elements of the publication – aesthetically and technically speaking – so to build a historical record of the Brazilian feminist press, from the graphic design perspective.
